Who We Are

Okanogan Land Trust is a non-profit conservation organization located in North Central Washington. We collaborate with landowners, community members, organizations, and businesses to conserve and protect what makes this place special: natural landscapes, wide open spaces, working farms and ranches, clean air and water, and abundant wildlife.

Service Area

From the Cascade Mountains to the Kettle Crest, and from Canada to the Columbia River, OLT serves the Okanogan Valley, Okanogan Highlands, and the western reaches of Ferry County.

As of 2019, OLT holds conservation easements on 27 properties comprising more than 9,000 total acres. For additional information about conservation easements, see Land Conservation.

In addition to conserving land and stewarding conservation easements, OLT also holds educational and community events focused on connecting people to the land and encouraging protection of the area’s shared landscapes. See Events and Education for more.
